On September 24th 2019, Built to Be was celebrated at the NVIFF awards ceremony in Amsterdam, Netherlands. 'Built to be' was selected as a Finalist in the category for 'Best European film'.
NVIFF has been running for two years now. Every year the awards ceremony is filmed and Broadcasted on Television. Writer/Producer Akash attended the festival and took part in a brief interview on the Red Carpet, discussing some of the topics of the film.

On October 28th, 2019, Built to Be was officially selected at 'Goa Film Festival' in Goa, India. The festival is in its seventh year running and has a reputation for the wide variety of International film content included in their festival programme's every year.
Winners are selected by a judging panel of industry professionals consisting of independent producers, production companies, filmmakers, and other film industry professionals who may be substituted at the discretion of the Festival organizers.

On October 28th, 2019, Built to Be was officially selected and shortlisted to be screened at the 'Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati' in Ohio, USA. The festival is currently in their second year running and is the only Indian/ South Asian Film Festival of its kind in Cincinnati and Ohio. They screen premieres of feature, and short films made in and about the Indian/South Asian subcontinent, or it's people or made by Indians. Designed to engage diversity through film, the festival selects films that speak to an American audience through topics and issues that that embrace the common human values across our cultures.

On July 7th, 2019, Built to Be was officially selected at 'The Monkey Bread Tree awards', an online film festival and is nominated for 'BEST SHORT FILM'.
The festival is currently in its fourth year running and is dedicated to independent film. With competitions every two months and a changing judge panel of film critics, actors and filmmakers working within the industry.

On July 5th, 2019, Built to Be was officially selected at 'Social World Film Festival' in Napoli, Italy. Social World has been running for over nine years now. The Festival has acquired a reputation for its vast selection of Dramatic and Emotional film content and hosts a series of events, movies, previews and innovative activities every year. The jury is comprised of young people and professionals and the festival receives thousands of visitors every year. On June 13th, 2019, 'Built to Be' was selected and shortlisted as a finalist at 'Changing Face International Film Festival (CFIFF) in Sydney, Australia. CFIFF ihas been running for three years now and hosts both monthly and annual competitions. 'Built to Be' was selected as a monthly finalist for May 2019. CFIFF plans to have an exhibition screening of their shortlist of finalist films at the fall of the year where 'Built to Be' may potentially have its first screening in Sydney.

On May 26th, 2019, Built to Be was selected and shortlisted as a finalist to be screened at 'Fabulosus' Short film night at the Peckhamplex cinema in South London. The theme of the night are films with topics surrounding families and kids. Tickets can be purchased online via the Peckhamplex cinema's official website and can also be purchased at the Peckhamplex cinema.

on August 5th, the event commences at 6:30pm and will finish at 8:30pm with an after party celebration above the Peckhamplex cinema to follow. We will also be having a short Q&A following the screening with some of our main cast and director Irene Maffei. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue for £4.99.

On May 23rd, 2019, Built to Be received its first official selection at 'NEZ International Film Festival'. The festival is in its sixth year running and has included 'Built to Be' in its programme to be screened on the 27th of September, the first day of the festival in the afternoon. Built to Be is nominated in the category for Best Short film.
